Team Agreement

 Let me tell you why you are here. You’re here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You’ve lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage. “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill.

Out of respect for our ministry partners and for CityView Church, and in order to serve others in Jesus’ name, we ask that all participants in a CityView mission trip to conduct themselves in a way that is in agreement with the following statements.

I AGREE TO... Submit to the authority of the team leader(s) and staff, abiding by their decisions and remaining flexible to changes that may occur. 

I AGREE TO... Refrain from drinking, smoking/chewing tobacco, using recreational drugs, obscene/insensitive humor, language or remarks, inappropriate sexual behavior, etc.

I AGREE TO... Dress modestly (ladies - no short shorts, spaghetti strap tank tops, low cut tops or mid-drifts; guys - wear a shirt at all times).

I AGREE TO... To avoid public displays of affection and/or any situation where I might be alone and in a compromising situation with anyone other than members of my immediate family.

I AGREE TO... Respect any stated curfews by the leadership.

I AGREE TO... Travel with the rest of the team, interact with members of the team and remain a part of the group. 

I AGREE TO... Not wander away from the group with a child at any time. 

I AGREE TO... Participate with the team and as a team in ministry experiences and projects.

I AGREE TO... Be flexible with a positive attitude and be willing to do whatever it takes to serve - no whiners!
